Pinoso

Pinoso is located 45 minutes from Alicante, with its glorious beaches and modern airport.

Pinoso, or El Pinós as it is also known, is a small wealthy town nestled amongst the mountains of the Alicante/Murcia border, some 1500ft above sea level. The area prides itself in its local produce, namely its wine, for which it has won many awards.

Pinoso boasts to being one of the richest towns in Spain and is revered for its magnificent natural beauty containing an abundance of; fruit orchards, vine yards and protected parks, offering an array of walks and cycle tracks in which to explore this wonderful location.

The town itself has been expanded over the years but still maintains its traditonal Spanish feel, something that most visitors come to Spain looking for; allowing you to live amongst the Spanish, rather than just living in Spain.

It boasts a nursery school, 2 junior schools, its own secondary school, a 24hr Medical Centre and an array of fantastic indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, meaning you never have to go far. Bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are plentiful and the local fiestas always provide a bustle of stalls, music and food stands and are a delight to all those wishing to participate.

Pinoso

Pinoso is an ideal place if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but still have it all within your reach. Rural properties are available to restore and new builds come with over 10,000m² of land, so you never feel like you are on top of each other; as it is important for the Town Council to allow their town to expand, but not to destroy its countryside or its charm. There are many beautiful villages and hamlets around Pinoso, all with fantastic views and all ranging from 2-10 minutes' drive from the town, so there is always plenty of choice in where to locate.

Encebras

Encebras

Encebras is one of the closest villages to Pinoso and also has an array of little hamlets within its boundaries. It is a very popular, sought-after area as it is nestled into the mountains of a protected reserve, offering glorious views down the valley to Pinoso or towards the green mountains of La sierra de la Taja.

From here you can access a tarmac road which will take you to the recreational area associated with the nature park with camping facilities, all provided by the council. The council has also updated the road leading to the villages of Purgateros and Tres Fuentes with a tarmac road, making these smaller villages more accessible to anyone looking for an older finca, bodega or cortigo with which to reform.

Rodriguillo

Is a large village situated only 2km from Pinoso in the direction of Fortuna, Murcia. It has a great infrastructure both within the village and to the town and many of the village homes are either lived in by the Spanish or have been tastefully reformed.

There is plenty of land around this area to suit all tastes; either on the outskirts of the village itself or slightly further afield.

Rodriguillo
Caballusa

Caballusa

Caballusa is located approximately 5km from Pinoso and is one of the smaller villages associated with this great town. It has lovely sweeping mountain views and provides an abundance of choice when choosing a plot in which to build your own dream home.

Caballusa is also very close to the Jumilla boundary, where only 5000m2 of land is required for a new build, giving you even more choice.

Paredón, Lel & Ubeda

These villages are next door to each other, separated only by a couple of km of road, with lots of little hamlets hidden within the countryside. They all have great, far-reaching views across the orchards and vineyards and of the distant mountains.

The villages are quite large and active, providing bars, restaurants and a bustling village life; ideal for those wanting somewhere a little bit more lively than the other quieter villages.

Culebrón

This village is located just off the main road between Pinoso and Monóvar, some 4km from the town itself.
